Either the turisty pedestrian street Váci utca just begins at us.
The apartment is in an avarage and tipical, old historical 4 level multiflat building (built at the end of the 1800s) on its second floor (no elevator !) where you can experience the real life in Budapest like a Budapester as you are also supposed to live the locals life with local urban residents and keep the order of the house. You will have a really strong impression when you enter the gateway from busy Market area and you can get in touch immidiatelly with the past 120 years of Hungary.
Our newly renovated, small (34sqm), modern and charming apartment is situated on the 2nd floor, Since there is no elevator in the house, after a walking up in the stuccoed old chic staircase, our entrance is from courtyard's gangway. The house is very safe, quiet and represents a perfect base to explore Budapest. However Pipa Apartment is located in the middle of busy downtown yet wonderfully peaceful and relaxing and feels like a true home from home.
Size 34 sqm and was completely refurbished in Spring 2015, has a combined living area with an openaired kitchen (looking out the courtyard side with morning sun), and one bedroom with a windows onto the famous and beautifully decorated Grand Markit Hall's colorful ceramic tiles-it is sunny afternoon. There is a bathroom with a bathtub/shower, washbasin and WC. The apartment situates up to 3 guests, a perfect home for a couple, a little family or a friendship of 2/3 members, roommates. Fully equipped open plan kitchenette and a dining bar table with 3 chairs. Further a sofa, very comfy beds, chairs and an airconditioning serve our guests comfort.

The nearest parking is around 400 metres behind the Market building in CZUCZOR street 2-10. STUDIUM deepgarage: 2800 HUF/day or 400 HUF/hour (payment: they accept cash HUF only)

-Our neighbour, the Central Market Hall is Budapest's most famous covered market building (built in 1897), one of the main places of note: the city's "stomach", Hungarian cuisine and housewives central purchasing-place: everything here is very colorful, fascinating, decorative and all senses in environment what culinary delights, you may need daily meals of fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, bakery products, domestic (and foreign) lands products... Typical Hungarian buffetrestaurants (attention: some are too expensive !) and Hungarian craftsmen with their colorful works of waiting for the local and foreign visitors.

trams/streetcars No.47/49 and the metro/underground Green line No.4 - Fővámtér stop
-If you arrive by train (to Keleti Railway Station):
take metro No.4/greenline/to Fővámtér station (4 stops), then a minute walk to our Pipa street left side of the Market Hall, the 2nd house from the corner.
From the Liszt Ferenc BUD Airport:
-by bus takes cca.1-1,5 hour, ticket can be bought at the airport: Bus No. 200 to terminal (Kőbánya Kispest) then by blue metro No.3 line to Kalvin tér stop, there change to the metro No.4 / greenline / further one stop to FŐVÁMTÉR or take tram No. 47/49 one stop to Fővám tér (Central Market Hall) or take a 5-10 minutes walk toward Libery Bridge-to our Pipa utca (at the Market Hall)
-by taxi/cab it takes approx. 20 - 30 minutes, costs € 27 /cab counted by a taximeter.At the Arrivel gate outside you will find the official airport taxi: FŐTAXI the have an own reservation desk at there.
-by Airport Minibus: it takes an hour (carrying more passengers into different hotel), approx. € 7 / oneway, which own the info desk at the airport.
