Egyetem square and right next to it the Károlyi Garden area is a quiet, hidden gem near Kálvin square and Astoria. One of the best location with unique atmosphere in downtown, true oasis with a pedestrian street and square. The lovely Károlyi garden park has a playground, benches and a promenade with fountains. You can reach museums, libraries, shops, bars, restaurants, clubs, supermarkets and public transport within minutes. The historical Hungarian National Museum with the museum garden is also nearby.
Excellent public transportation. M3 (blue) metro line, trams are running at Kálvin and Ferenciek square. M2 (red) metro at Astoria is also a couple of steps away.
