Es geht von Szabadság Platz von der südlichsten Ecke bis zum Großen Ring im Norden; begrenzt von der Donau im Westen und von dem Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Weg im Osten.

Hier sind das Parlament, die Gebäude der Ministerien, andere Staatliche Einrichtungen, und es ist ein Nachbar der Margareteninsel.

Die Gegend hat ein schachbrettartiges Straßensystem: breite Straßen mit breiten Wegen (aber ohne Durchgangsverkehr) und breit, oft baumige Gehwege, und viele Parkplätze.
